How does the Legacybox process work?
Once you order, we send you a reinforced box and prepaid shipping label. You fill it with your old tapes, film, and photos, then ship it back to us. Our professionals digitize every item by hand and return your originals along with your new digital files.
How long does it take to get my memories back?
The standard processing time is approximately 6 to 8 weeks from the moment we receive your box at our studio. You will receive email updates at every stage of the process, from check-in to shipping.
What formats can you digitize?
We support a wide range of media including VHS tapes, MiniDV, 8mm film, 16mm film, 35mm slides, and standard photo prints. If it contains a memory, we likely have the equipment to preserve it.
Is it safe to mail my original media?
Yes, we use a secure tracking system that allows you to monitor your Legacybox throughout its journey. Every item is barcoded upon arrival to ensure it is tracked through our entire facility and safely returned to you.
In what format will I receive my digital copies?
You can choose to receive your digitized memories via Thumb Drive, Disc Set (DVD), or through our secure Digital Download service stored in the cloud.
What happens to my original tapes and photos?
We return every single original item you send us. Your old tapes, reels, and photos will be packed back into your Legacybox and shipped to your door alongside your new digital media.
